First Day of School Outfit - Casual!

Hey girls!

About a year ago, I came across this cool fashion website called Polyvore. On this website, you can design different outfits (you can even add accessories and nail polish) and even buy the pieces that you used to create the outfit on online stores and websites.

Here is an outfit that I created a few days ago that I think would be a super cute outfit to wear to school!
This is a casual outfit, but I can do more of these Polyvore outfit posts and make fancy ones, edgy ones, really girly ones - any kind of outfit you guys would enjoy to see a post on!

Here is the list of where you can get the outfit pieces and prices:

Shirt – shoptaintedkiss.com ($12)

Jeans – glamorousus.com ($31)

Shoes – maurices.com ($26)

Ring – gojane.com ($9.20)

Earrings – bodyc.com ($3.90)

Here is my Polyvore page in case you guys want to make your own Polyvore account and follow me!

I hope you all enjoyed this post and let me know if you want more outfit ideas like this (school related or not).

Blair

Are you watching my Back to School videos?

Hey everyone!

Recently, I have started filming my Back to School series.

So far, I have done a "What to Keep in Your School Beauty Bag" video. Click here to see that. Basically I show you all the necessities and important beauty/makeup favorites to keep in my beauty bag for school.

Also, I filmed a haul because I know everyone LOVES hauls (especially me!) so that's why I decided to show you all in a video some of the new clothes I purchased recently. Click here to see that. If you are interested in knowing where I got my new clothes, you can check the description box below the video to see the stores and prices (in order of appearance in video) of all my new clothing.

Last, but not least, I did an easy school makeup tutorial; click here to see that. I used mostly high-end products, so let me know in the comments on that video or on the comments of that post if you all would like an all-drugstore makeup tutorial. I understand that many of you may not want to spend all your money on expensive makeup products, so again just let me know if any of you would like to see that video!

That's all for this blog post; I just wanted to do a quick re-cap of the videos I recently uploaded to my channel that had to do with the "Back to School" Theme. Let me know if you guys want any specific videos for me to film and upload!

Thank you WidgetBox!

Hey everyone,

Basically, just wanted to make a quick blog post (I know... like my third one today, crazy) to thank the company that made my two little widgets for Twitter and YouTube on the side of my blog.

And before I get on with this post, I just wanted to say really quickly that WidgetBox is NOT compensating (paying) me to write this post, I decided to do this on my own. They kindly made the widgets for me and than I decided to write this to thank them for supplying me with the widgets.

Anyway, WidgetBox is basically a really cool website where you can make awesome widgets (like the YouTube and Twitter ones) quickly and easily. They have simple directions to make your blog or website shine.

There are many widgets you can make, but you can also customize your own. They have games, apps, Twitter and YouTube (as well as other website) feeds that you can easily install into your blog or website that look really cool.

You can sign up free on WidgetBox (there is a pro option that costs money, but there is also the free one -- the pro option just gives you some more widgets and designs, but it doesn't necessarily hold you back from anything major) and start designing your widgets, also free, and making your blog or website unique and one-of-a-kind!

Click here to check out and sign up for Widget Box. Again, thank you to the company who designed my two widgets here on my blog!

Miley's New 'Do!

Hey girls!

I follow Miley Cyrus on twitter, so of course when she was tweeting about her new haircut (along with some pictures!) I knew I had to make a blog post about it.
Here are a few pictures that she tweeted out:
First off, I just want to say that I don't really have an opinion on her new hairdo, just because I love Miley Cyrus, and I've been a big fan even since her early Hannah Montana days back in 2006 (long time, I know!) Also, apparently Miley donated her locks to a Cancer foundation, and you can't really hate on a person for donating to Cancer (especially if you don't know her).

I actually think that this pixie cut look suits her. It's kind of girlie rock, which is also what I think inspires her clothing and accessory choices (I absolutely L.O.V.E. her style!) <3

Anyway, what do you all think about Miley's new 'do? Love or hate?

Also, funny random thing - there's a Twitter account by the name of Miley'sBun which just has really funny tweets about Miley's Bun (you really just have to read them to know what I'm talking about) and if you want to take a look at that, click here.

So, that's it for now... hope you all enjoyed this blogpost and I'll write more soon!

Beauty Talk - Polyvore!

Hey guys!

I just wanted to do a quick post about a website that I found a few months ago called Polyvore.
This is a fabulous fashion website where you can basically find pieces (clothes, accessories, nail polish, makeup) and pair it all together to make an outfit. Then, if you want to purchase any of the items from your set (that's what it's called when you make an outfit) you can click on the link of the fashion item and purchase it online if you want!

Sign-up is free, so make sure if you are interested in Polyvore that you check it out!

New Lush Products!

Hey girls!

I wanted to quickly mention a few things I got from Lush recently. Since I only got two things, I couldn't do a haul :(

Anyway, the first item I got was the Yuzu and Cocoa Bubble Bar. Since I haven't tried any of the products out yet, I can't really give a good review, but I am happy to say I can tell you how amazingly delicious they smell!

Basically, you plop a piece of a bubble bar in your bath and in seconds it will dissolve and make your water heaven (seriously!). The bubble bars from Lush make your water silky smooth and extremely moisturizing. I've tried out some other bubble bars from Lush before, so I know how they work (just haven't tried out this one just yet.)

The smell of the Yuzu and Cocoa Bubble bar is a strong citrus scent with a wash of chocolate over it. It actually took me awhile to get used to this scent before I bought it, so I would't recommend purchasing this particular bubble bar online, but rather going to a Lush store in person and smelling the bubble bar for yourself.

The Yuzu and Cocoa Bubble Bar was $5.95 and I'm super duper excited to try it!

Alright, enough about that! The next product that I have yet to try is the Butterball Bath Bomb.
My interpretation of the scent is a very sweet, bakery vanilla scent. If you are interested here's the scent description given on the website about this product:

"BEAUTIFUL BUTTER CREAM HYDRATION FOR DRY SKIN

Our vanilla-scented Bath Bomb is anything but boring when you lay back into a cozy white blanket of creamy buttery froth. This little fizzer is the ultimate in comfort with chunks of creamy cocoa butter; it’s fantastic for rehydrating dry skin. Baths can dry your skin if they’re too hot, so if you’re in need of a long, lingering bath pop one of these gorgeous beauties into the tub for a vanilla custard soak to lull you into a deep relaxed state – and leave with sweeter, softer skin."

So, I'm also very excited to try out this bath bomb. I have tried Lush Bath Bombs before, and I'm very impressed by them! This particular bath bomb was $4.95 and I absolutely LOVE the smell!

I hope you guys liked my review of these two Lush Products, and definitely make sure to check out the website if you're interested in the products mentioned in the blog post or if you want to check out any other products on the Lush site. If you would be interested, I could do a blog post on my favorite products from Lush, so let me know in the comments of this post if you would like to see a blog post like that!
